This model, created for Gynecare TVT, demonstrates a treatment for Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI). The model quickly and efficiently shows exactly how the TVT mesh works. The model's anatomy includes the bladder, urethra, pelvic floor, and pubic bone.

• A button above the bladder allows the user to push down and simulate abdominal pressure. e.g. coughing, laughing, and sneezing. As a result of this 'pressure' the urethra kinks and bends. This action represents the leakage with which so many SUI patients are familiar.

• Posts on the back of the pubic bone provide anchor points for replicas of the TVT and TVT secur meshes. When either mesh is in place, the user can easily see and feel the support of the TVT when they press the button.
