The changes experienced during menopause invariably affect a woman’s bone and reproductive health. This two-sided model allows the physician to address and illustrate both these issues, specif- ically osteoporotic bone loss and hysterectomy.

•One side of the model depicts menopausal bone loss and features an affected femur to represent a typical site for the adverse effects of osteoporosis. Different stages of bone loss are also depicted, including normal bone for comparison.

•The model’s hysterectomy side depicts the uterus, vagina and ovaries in relation to various surgical procedures.

•The pullout cards – five on each side – provide detailed information relating to bone loss and hysterectomy.
