The mini-joint has been reduced to a half of his natural size but has kept all of his functionality.

In addition to the external anatomical structures, using the superb new joint cross-section mounted on the base, the medical or teaching professional now has the possibility to explain what is happening from "within".

This model consists of the upper half of the humerus, as well as the clavicle and scapula. Besides showing the musculature of the rotator cuff, the model also shows the origin and insertion points of the shoulder muscles highlighted in colour (origin = red, insertion points = blue). The following muscles can be depicted and even detached for a clearer understanding:

o M. subscapularis
o M. supraspinatus
o M. infraspinatus
o M. teres minor

Upon detaching the individual muscles, all movements of the shoulder joint can be carried out, namely:
o Abduction
o Adduction
o Inner rotation
o Outer rotation
o Raising the arms to the front of the body
o Raising the arms to the back of the body
o Raising the arms above the horizontal plane and making circles with the arms

Completing our set of joints and their muscles, we are proud to introduce this 12 part knee model. The knee joint shows different removable muscles and muscle portions of the knee area. Color coded and raised areas indicate the muscle origin and insertion points on the femur, tibia, and fibula associated with the knee joint. In addition, parts of the fibular and tibial collateral ligaments are represented in this knee joint model. All the muscles of the leg are easily removable to permit study of the deeper anatomical layers of the knee joint.

This model was developed to provide patients understandable information, e.g. before surgery. It shows the right hip joint of an elderly person in half natural size. In addition, a frontal section through the femoral neck is shown in relief on the base. The model shows the femoral fractures that occur most commonly in practice as well as typical wear and tear symptoms of the hip joint (coxarthrosis or hip osteoarthritis). The following fractures are shown:

This model can be used to demonstrate various disorders of the human knee joint (articulatio genus) and their respective therapies in a graphic way. The model shows a natural-sized, healthy right knee joint in upright position, including parts of the femur, tibia and fibula as well as the ligament system and the patella with part of the femoral tendon. Represented here is the right hip joint of a male with the individual muscles as well as the muscle origins and insertions on the femur and the hip bone. For educational purposes, the origin and insertion areas of the muscles have been raised and presented in color (muscle origin = red; muscle insertion = blue) on the hip joint.
